Legs.. Skirts.. Shoes...

The thinner the the denier the higher the price you need to pay. Cheap tights snag, sometimes before you have even left the house! The dressier the event, the thinner the hosiery. The same applies to heels.

New Watch

For someone who doesn't own a watch, it's not that I don't like them but with having small wrists and liking watches with a big face, I just couldn't find one that suited me. But when looking threw countless of watch cabinets in an antique shop I found this particular one that just simply made me say 'ooh!'.

This in particular watch is a Sutus Quartz.. Not that I know if that is a good make or not, but for me I love it! Best find of the month so far for me, and we are only on day 2.

When a Heel Breaks

All heels have steel rods inside the flesh of the heel so they shouldn't break, and if they do you are walking at a very strange angle.  But if this happens while you are out, improvise.

  • If it has snapped off altogether retrieve it.
  • If it is hanging off try to wedge it back on
  • With both of the above transfer all the weight to the balls of your foot instantly.
  • Walk on tip toes, find a seat or lean in a stylish way against the wall.
  • If you are required to stand still place all your weight on the foot with the heel intact, but don't stand still for too long.
  • Do not draw attention to a broken heel, you will be inviting ridicule.
  • Retire to replace shoes at the soonest convenience.
  • Call the taxi home!
